Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette

18:30

For Christmas I was lucky enough to get the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette, so I thought I would do a brief review. I LOVE the colours they range from naturals you can wear during the day to bright colours for when you go out.

The only thing that disappointed me with this palette was the packaging. It's the same material as the first Urban Decay NAKED palette, which I'm not a great fan of. But I soon got over it once I started using it. The colours are so easy to blend, which is always a sign of a good palette.

It comes with a brush and a mirror so its great if you wanted to take your it with you on your travels, or do your make up on the go (as I do most days.)

If you're thinking of splurging on this, I would a 100% recommend! They do say you only regret the things you don't buy...

Bellow are pictures of the palette and a look I created with the colours (and I know my make-up skills are not brill, but practice makes perfect)

To create this look I used the colours: Buon Fresco, Love Letter, Venetian Red and Primavera
Other products I used:

Primer: Clarins Beauty Flash Balm
Foundation: Too Faced Born This Way- shade Snow (don't get how I still look orange?)
Concealer: NYX- Shade porcelain
Powder: Laura Mercier loose setting powder-translucent
Blusher: Nars colour: orgasm
Brows: Illamasqua brow gel- strike
Mascara: Too Faced- Better than sex
Eyeliner: Soap and Glory- Cat eye
Highlighter: Anastasia Beverly Hills- Palette Gleam
Lipstick: Mac- flat out fabulous

10:38

Sorry I haven't posted for a while been super busy with uni deadlines and celebrating my 21st Birthday! Just thought I would do a post on some of the absolute steals I got on Black Friday! Big Shout out to Missguided and In Then Style for 50 and 40% every girls dream! Can't say my bank account was too thankful though (oops)

(Please excuse my paleness in all of these pictures)

The first outfit is from Charlotte Crosby's Nostalgia Range- In The Style it so warm and comfy, perfect for this time of year! I love the modern twist of the choker neck which saves you having to wear scarf.

The black knee-high boots are from Missguided and they're fabulous for going out as they're covered in glitter, tis the season for glitter, and all that jazz.

Here's the links:

The stuggles of having a resting bitch face.

The next outfit is all from Missguided, honestly these pictures do not do this outfit justice, it soo pretty and sparkly this my new favorite outfit for the Christmas period.

HALLOWEEN!

18:00

Hi guys!

For this post I thought I would do a Halloween special, as Halloween is my ultimate FAVE time of the year, because you can look as glam or as gruesome as you want! I normally like being a mixture of the two. So for this year's outfit I decided on being dead Tinkerbell (It was WENDY!)

But rather than just buy a fancy dress costume I decided to create my own, So I got my green dress from ASOS for an absolute steal of £11! (Bargain I know) and not only is the dress the perfect dress for being Tinkerbell I can also wear it again in the summer.

The wings are from when I was three (I was surprised they still fit!)
Now I had the outfit I had to make sure I looked dead, so using liquid latex from Amazon and some cotton wool I created a bullet/arrow wound.

And here's the look:
