I'm BACK!

04:18

Hi guys!

FINALLY I'm back with a brand review (yeyy!) Today I'm going to be talking about the silicone beauty blender. Now I've heard lots of mixed reviews about this type of blender some love it others HATE it, so I was unsure what to expect but I just knew I had to try one for myself.

I ordered the Violet Voss- The Perfect Weapon- Silicone Applicator from Beauty Bay to see what all the fuss was about.

The packaging is soo pretty:

I must admit it took a lot of getting used too, applying my make up with this applicator, but once you get to grips with it the coverage is AMAZING! I couldn't believe it, I only used one pump of foundation (I normally use three!)

Here's a swatch of the coverage on my arm: (From one pump)

Vs the beauty blender:

As you can see you get a lot more product out of the silicone blender, so think how much longer your make up will last!

Here is my make-up applied using the silicone blender.
(I really tried to get a good selfie, but the camera decided it wasn't going to be my friend so this the best one I could get.)

So would I recommend? -Yes, I feel everyone needs to try this applicator as it is so different.

Booband

07:55

Can't believe it's the last day of Feb, this year is already going so fast! So I thought I would do a post based on one of my New Years Resolution's, to exercise more and become more fit, so I can run up the stairs at uni with ease and not pant for an hour after, because it's becoming embarrassing.

Anyway, I have really struggled to find a sports bra that actually supports my boobs and doesn't make them jump up down whilst running, which is v. irritating. But I have found the solution! (Hallelujah!) The Booband is a band that you place over your sports bra to give you that extra support and stop your boobs from bouncing all over the place.

It has literally made exercising so much easier, as my boobs now stay in place. So if you're having a similar problem with sport bras I would a 100% recommend this and in the long will save you money as you don't have to waste it on sports bras.

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette

06:37

Hi Guys!
Hope you're well! Today's blog post is about my first impressions on the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette.

First of all it smells AMAZING! And the colours are perfect for creating a natural day time look. The colours are super pigmented and are really easy to blend, which always makes life easier! Another plus to this palette is that it comes with a mirror so it's perfect if you want to travel and do your make up on the go (like I do most days). So if you're looking to buy this palette here a some swatches, to help you make up your mind:

Hello 2O17!

16:11

Hey! Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all had a fab nye! Don't know about the rest of you but I'm happy to see the back of 2016!

But I can't believe it 2017, I still think 2007 was only 3 years ago not TEN! For this post I just thought I would talk about what I would like to achieve in the next 12 months (and if all goes wrong we can use it as another trial year.)

1. I want to do well in my first year at university.

2. Exercise a lot more, as it's starting to get a bit embarrassing going up 1 flight of stairs and me having to hide the fact I'm out of breath, and I would like to possibly lose a chin, currently have (lost count) but that's Christmas for ya. Will post my progress if there is any.

As you can see I've only set myself 2 goals as I've got to achieve at least one of them (haven't I?)

Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette

18:30

For Christmas I was lucky enough to get the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette, so I thought I would do a brief review. I LOVE the colours they range from naturals you can wear during the day to bright colours for when you go out.

The only thing that disappointed me with this palette was the packaging. It's the same material as the first Urban Decay NAKED palette, which I'm not a great fan of. But I soon got over it once I started using it. The colours are so easy to blend, which is always a sign of a good palette.

It comes with a brush and a mirror so its great if you wanted to take your it with you on your travels, or do your make up on the go (as I do most days.)

If you're thinking of splurging on this, I would a 100% recommend! They do say you only regret the things you don't buy...

Bellow are pictures of the palette and a look I created with the colours (and I know my make-up skills are not brill, but practice makes perfect)

To create this look I used the colours: Buon Fresco, Love Letter, Venetian Red and Primavera
Other products I used:

Primer: Clarins Beauty Flash Balm
Foundation: Too Faced Born This Way- shade Snow (don't get how I still look orange?)
Concealer: NYX- Shade porcelain
Powder: Laura Mercier loose setting powder-translucent
Blusher: Nars colour: orgasm
Brows: Illamasqua brow gel- strike
Mascara: Too Faced- Better than sex
Eyeliner: Soap and Glory- Cat eye
Highlighter: Anastasia Beverly Hills- Palette Gleam
Lipstick: Mac- flat out fabulous

The black knee-high boots are from Missguided and they're fabulous for going out as they're covered in glitter, tis the season for glitter, and all that jazz.

HALLOWEEN!

18:00

Hi guys!

For this post I thought I would do a Halloween special, as Halloween is my ultimate FAVE time of the year, because you can look as glam or as gruesome as you want! I normally like being a mixture of the two. So for this year's outfit I decided on being dead Tinkerbell (It was WENDY!)

But rather than just buy a fancy dress costume I decided to create my own, So I got my green dress from ASOS for an absolute steal of £11! (Bargain I know) and not only is the dress the perfect dress for being Tinkerbell I can also wear it again in the summer.

The wings are from when I was three (I was surprised they still fit!)
Now I had the outfit I had to make sure I looked dead, so using liquid latex from Amazon and some cotton wool I created a bullet/arrow wound.

And here's the look:
